About Michael
Michael Stein is a member of Chatham’s Real Estate Investment Banking practice, advising institutional real estate clients on capital strategy, structuring, execution, and complex valuations.
Prior to joining Chatham, he was a member of the KKR Capital Markets team, where he sourced and structured asset, portfolio, and company acquisition financings for the U.S. Real Estate team. Preceding KKR, he spent four years at J.P. Morgan originating commercial real estate debt within the real estate banking platform. He began his career working on the corporate real estate syndicated capital markets team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Michael graduated from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor's degree in political science and minors in economics and corporate strategy.
