Matt Burgess is a member of Chatham’s Global Real Estate team, managing client relationships and comprehensive engagements for institutional real estate investors. He advises clients on sophisticated interest rate and currency hedging strategies. During his time at Chatham, Matt has guided his clients to implement and execute hedging strategies on over 1,800 deals, spanning all real estate verticals across major and emerging market currencies. Prior to joining Chatham, he worked at Clayton Holdings as a senior credit analyst for residential mortgage backed securities.
Matt received his bachelor’s in finance and economics from Northern Colorado and holds an MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
