Rich Weins is the Director of Chatham’s corporates hedging advisory team, where he helps companies with interest rate and foreign exchange risk management. Since joining the corporates hedging advisory practice at Chatham, Rich has advised corporate clients on the structuring, implementation, and execution of interest rate and currency risk management programs totaling over $100 billion in hedged notional. Rich previously directed Chatham’s real estate defeasance program, advising on the largest commercial real estate defeasance transaction ever executed in the market. Prior to Chatham, Rich worked for MBNA developing competitor and industry analysis tools and at the FAA Technical Center as a budget and program analyst. Rich holds a bachelor’s in business administration and finance from James Madison University and an MBA from the Pennsylvania State University.
