About Rae
Rae Phelps is on Chatham’s Real Estate Defeasance and Prepayment team, focusing on processing defeasance transactions and improving the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of hedging operations. Her expertise lies in advising current and potential commercial real estate investors on all aspects of the financial and legal processes of defeasance and prepayment, whether that be for deal execution or portfolio analysis.
Prior to joining Chatham, Rae served for six years as a Field Artillery Officer in the United States Army.
Rae received her bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
