About Michael

Michael Leslie is on Chatham’s Global Real Estate Hedging and Capital Markets team. This team assists commercial real estate investors with interest rate hedging analysis, structuring, and execution. He is based in Edinburgh and works primarily across the real estate and social infrastructure sectors. Michael has also recently advised clients on LIBOR cessation and transition.

Michael is a chartered accountant and holds an Executive M.B.A. from the University of Edinburgh Business School. Michael has 20 years of experience in mid-market corporate and property finance, having previously worked in M&A advisory and transaction services with Ernst and Young and Deloitte and corporate banking with the Bank of Ireland U.K.
