Joe Sisson is a Director on Chatham’s Valuation, Reporting, and Analytics team. This team focuses on debt, asset, and derivative valuation as well as debt management operations and covenants monitoring. Joe has been actively engaged in real estate valuation and consulting since 2007 and received his MAI designation from Appraisal institute in 2013.
Joe’s clients include REITs, open-end, closed-end funds, private investors, and government agencies. Joe specializes in valuations for a variety of purposes, including ASC 805 and ASC 820 valuations, underwriting and financial reporting appraisals, net asset valuation, and impairment exercises. Joe has valued all asset classes across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Joe remains active within the Appraisal Institute, serving as a board member of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Chapter, and a member of the Candidate Guidance committee.
Prior to joining Chatham, Joe spent five years with Duff & Phelps in their real estate advisory group and seven years with Integra Realty Resources. Joe received a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University.
