About Jessie

Jessie Kelley is a Director in Chatham’s Financial institutions team and leads business development efforts in the Southeast and portions of the Midwest. In this role, she advises financial institutions on interest rate risk management utilizing hedging strategies.

Prior to joining Chatham, Jessie worked for a Super Community Bank for 13 years. She spent eleven of those years running the bank’s back-to-back customer interest rate hedging desk. Besides interest rate hedging, she also spent the last year at the bank helping lead the Syndication desk.

Before starting a career in banking, Jessie was a middle school Math and Science teacher. In all the roles she has had in her career, the two most important aspects of business development for her are education and relationships. The foundational understanding of interest rate products for both financial institutions and their commercial customers is the top priority for building a successful hedging offering. Jessie graduated from Rockhurst University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
