Shazia Khurshid is a Director on Chatham’s Hedge Accounting Advisory team. She primarily advises clients on hedge accounting implications of balance sheet risk management strategies as well as customer hedging needs with a focus on the application of U.S. GAAP reporting standards relating to the accounting and valuation of interest rate derivatives. She directs these services for Chatham's financial institution sector, specializing in commercial banks, savings and loan associations, savings banks, and credit unions.
Prior to joining Chatham in 2004, Shazia worked at Fannie Mae, Deloitte, and Morgan Stanley. Shazia is a licensed CPA, a CGMA, and a member of the AICPA. She earned her bachelor's in accounting from Hunter College.
