Jamie Macdonald is a Director of Hedging and Capital Markets and serves as a senior leader on Chatham’s European Real Estate Team. He helps clients manage risk through derivatives and hedging activities.
Jamie’s specialised expertise in interest rate and foreign currency risk management spans the needs of private equity, real estate, REITs, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices. As a leader in Chatham’s Global Real Estate practice, Jamie advises on the creation and implementation of strategic hedging programs through to derivative execution and management for clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to Chatham, Jamie worked in finance and strategy role for British Airways. Jamie earned his M.S. in mathematics from Imperial College University of London, and he is a Chartered Accountant.
