Erica Ellafy leads the U.S. ISDA Advisory team for Chatham’s Regulatory Compliance Advisory practice. She reviews and negotiates derivatives documentation on behalf of Chatham’s private equity, infrastructure, corporate, and real estate clients. She brings extensive subject matter expertise in ISDA Agreements and related documents, as well as regulatory bilateral agreements. Erica also participates in various industry working groups related to smart contracts and development and digitization of trade documentation.
Prior to joining Chatham, Erica worked for five years in mortgage servicing compliance and default management, most recently with Specialized Loan Servicing in Denver. During law school she interned with the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Erica received her Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Drury University, and her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review Editorial Board.
