About Benoit

Benoit Duhil de Benaze is a Managing Director on Chatham’s European Private Equity team. Benoit helps new and existing clients with their risk management, including several high-profile transactions, from FX deal-contingent hedges in multibillion, cross-border M&A to large interest rate financing/refinancing situations. He focuses primarily on FX, interest rate, and deal-contingent hedging.

Prior to joining Chatham, he spent three years at Nomura as part of the FX structuring team, serving private equity and corporate clients. He also spent nine years at Societe Generale, where he built and led the London FX structuring team for corporate and institutional clients. The experience he has acquired as a top deal-contingent provider helps his clients achieve the best financial and legal terms for their hedging solutions. When he is not working Benoit likes to train for endurance races including running, swimming and cycling, as well as spending time with his young family.
