About Brian
Brian Gould is a senior member of Chatham’s Real Estate Investment Banking group, leading the department’s Washington, D.C. office. He advises commercial real estate clients on project capitalizations (loan procurement and joint venture equity), capital markets strategy, loan workouts, and distressed debt investing.
Prior to joining Chatham, Brian spent nine years with JBG SMITH as a Senior Vice President – Capital Markets. He led JBG’s financing efforts for the company’s $10 billion CRE portfolio. He also oversaw interest rate hedging, JV capital structuring, investor reporting, and treasury management. He previously spent six years at Guggenheim Partners in its high-yield CRE debt group and three years at Prudential in its CRE lending division.
Brian is a graduate of Northwestern University and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
