Managing foreign currency and interest rate risk in the current market environment
Join the Chatham team to discuss key topics and trends across foreign currency and interest rates in 2023. Chatham’s subject matter experts will discuss economic and accounting considerations corporates should review as they examine their foreign currency and interest rate risk management strategies.

How to achieve hedge accounting for complex risk management programs
Chatham will be providing an interactive session where subject matter experts will review the various alternative paths corporates have at their disposal in achieving hedge accounting treatment for complex interest rate, foreign currency, and commodity risk management programs.

Learning objectives:
- Review hedge accounting requirements under applicable accounting guidance
- Analyze various case studies for how companies have achieved hedge accounting treatment for complex risk management programs
- Understand hedge accounting requirements for pre-issuance hedging, fair value treatment for interest rates, long haul treatment for FX programs, and hedge accounting requirements for commodity programs
Approved for up to 2.4 CTP recertification credits by the Association for Financial Professionals at the rate of one credit for each 50 minutes of attendance.
