Steve Castleton is a Managing Director and runs Chatham's Insurance sector. During his 15 years at Chatham, he has developed economic and accounting hedging strategies for banks, insurers, and GSEs. He also develops strategic solutions for clients that refine and improve their derivative front, middle, and back-office business processes.
Steve previously served as co-head of Chatham’s Accounting Advisory team. Prior to Chatham, he worked in the assurance practice at Ernst & Young and at the Financial Accounting Standards Board on Statement 133, Accounting for Derivative Instruments and Hedging Activities.
Steve is a CPA and member of the AICPA. He received his Bachelor’s and Master of Accountancy degrees from Brigham Young University.
