About Mike
Mike Strong is a Director on Chatham’s Private Equity Accounting Advisory team, advising clients on properly structuring and documenting their derivative and hedging activities for optimal economic and financial reporting outcomes. During his time at Chatham, Mike has led Chatham’s Global Real Estate accounting practice, as well as serving our Corporate clients.
During his career, Mike worked in Ernst & Young’s national office as a researcher and was a member of their on call advisory practice. He also worked for John Hancock/Manulife responsible for derivative advisory and oversight and was a member of their global accounting policy group.
Mike is a CPA and received his bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, and Master of Accounting from the University of Utah.
