About Michel
Michel Post is a Managing Director for Chatham’s European business, focusing on operations, risk, and control. Furthermore, Michel is supporting the business across sectors by developing partnerships, expanding into new geographies, and coordinating external stakeholders.
He brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services to his work, advising clients and scaling companies. Before joining Chatham, Michel has held multiple leadership roles in corporate and investment banking, advising companies and organisations on transactions in capital markets and risk management. In addition, he led European operations for fintech firms in the fields of FX and trade finance.
Throughout his international career, based in the Netherlands, Germany, and the United States, Michel served a wide array of clients and sectors, ranging from start-ups to private equity and publicly listed multinational corporations and institutions.
Michel graduated from Nyenrode Business University and holds a master’s degree in economics from University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
