About Karl
Karl Newman is on Chatham’s Regulatory Advisory team. He is focused on ensuring regulatory trade reporting compliance and arrangements across the EMEA region.
Prior to joining Chatham, Karl was the EMEA regulatory reporting lead at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation with responsibility for EMIR, MiFIR, and SFTR. Prior to this, he was a senior integration consultant for tier one clients of DTCC’s Global Trade Repository.
He brings hands-on knowledge of managing regulatory change at every stage of the process and from the perspective of buy-side, sell-side, and trade repositories.
