Maya Garza is a member of the Global Regulatory Solutions team focusing on central regulatory advisory. Prior to Chatham, Maya worked at ARC, Inc. as a member of criminal defense teams on death penalty and juvenile resentencing cases. She also worked for a Baltimore city councilman and in nonprofit development. She received a BA in political science from the Johns Hopkins University. She was a concurrent degree student at UCLA where she received a master’s in urban and regional planning from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and a JD from UCLA Law, with specializations in critical race studies and public interest law and policy. She was also the Chief Comments Editor on the UCLA Law Review.
