About Gregory

Gregory Curtis is on Chatham’s Global Real Estate Hedging and Capital Markets team. This team assists commercial real estate investors with interest rate hedging analysis, structuring, and execution.

Before joining Chatham, Gregory worked at Société Générale CIB and HSBC working in foreign exchange and equity derivatives. He also worked for Liberty Global where he was involved in several large M&A transactions.

Gregory holds a master's degree in finance from IESEG School of Management in Paris.

Following the BoE's initial 50 bps cut, GBP swap rates fell to all-time lows with the 5-year swap reaching 0.29% and the 10-year swap only one basis point higher at 0.30%. Rate expectations have since rebounded despite a further 15 bps cut last Thursday, with the 5-year swap rate now back at 0.51%.
