Tim Mitchell is a Managing Partner, leading our Global Real Estate business, and is a member of Chatham’s board of directors and Senior Leadership team. With over 30 years of experience in institutional real estate investing and capital markets, Tim brings knowledge and perspective to managing client relationships and comprehensive engagements.
Tim joined Chatham’s hedge advisory practice in 2011, advising clients on funding strategies with particular emphasis on interest rate risk management and prepayment considerations. He also leads our Denver real estate team and serves clients across developers, REITs, and real estate opportunity funds. Tim came to Chatham after 13 years at Somera Capital Management in debt finance, acquisitions, and asset management roles.
Tim serves on the board of the Littleton Public Schools Foundation. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA and his M.B.A. from the Graziadio School at Pepperdine University.
