Sam Peterson
Sam works in Chatham’s regulatory advisory services group. In this capacity, Sam provides technical and policy advice to businesses and trade associations regarding the impact of derivatives regulation under Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Act. Sam has testified before the U.S. House of Representatives regarding the implementation of new derivatives regulations and serves on the National Futures Association’s Introducing Broker Advisory Committee. Prior to joining the regulatory advisory services group, Sam worked on Chatham’s financial institutions, structured finance, and private real estate teams. Prior to joining Chatham, Sam worked at law firms in Wilmington, New Orleans, and Philadelphia. Sam holds a B.A. from the University of Delaware and a certificate in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Email: Sam Peterson
