Mike founded Chatham Financial in 1991 as an independent, sole advisor specializing in interest rate risk management. Mike continues to serve as Chatham’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Formerly a Vice President in the Derivative Products Group at Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase), Mike spent nine years in various credit, corporate finance, and derivative roles in New York and Zurich, Switzerland. He holds a BA in Economics from Wheaton College, Illinois and received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mark is Managing Director responsible for Chatham's private equity advisory business in Europe. Since joining Chatham in 2001, he has advised real estate investors, private equity sponsors, and corporations across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region on structuring and implementing their financial risk management programs and derivatives transactions. Prior to Chatham, Mark served as an Infantry officer in the US Army for five years after graduating with highest distinction from the US Military Academy at West Point. He later received an MA degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Since 2009 he has served on the board of advisers of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council - Europe.
Steve is a Managing Director and co-leads Chatham’s Accounting Advisory team, which advises clients on valuations and accounting for derivatives and hedging activities. Steve joined Chatham in 2005 providing hedge accounting advisory predominantly to our financial institutions clients. Prior to Chatham, Steve worked in the assurance practice at Ernst & Young, where he specialized in audits of financial institutions. Prior to EY, he worked at the Financial Accounting Standards Board on the Derivatives Implementation Group and worked on FAS 138, an amendment of FAS 133. Steve is a CPA and a member of the AICPA. He received his BS and Masters in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
Brian is the Managing Director for Chatham’s Private Equity/Infrastructure business serving corporate, real estate and infrastructure investors. He is also a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. Brian specializes in interest rate, foreign currency and commodity risk management. He joined Chatham in 2000 and has advised corporate private equity and real estate sponsors throughout his career specializing in the structuring and implementation of risk management programs totaling over US 500 billion in hedged notional. Brian graduated with distinction from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Biochemistry and an MBA in Finance.
Amol is a Managing Director and member of the firm’s Operating Committee. He leads the corporate business serving public and private corporations focusing on interest rate, foreign currency and commodity risk management. He joined Chatham in 2001 and launched its Corporate Sector offerings in 2007. Amol has advised a broad spectrum of public and privately held companies as well as corporate private equity sponsors on the structuring, implementation, and accounting of their risk management programs totaling more than US $500 billion in hedged notional. Amol graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Chemical Engineering and a BS in Economics. He also received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Palmer Scholar.
